LAKE NATRON

1-Day Natron Lake Trip

Lake Natron is known for its extreme environment, with high temperatures and alkalinity due to its high concentrations of sodium carbonate. This has made the lake a hostile environment for most species, but it is a vital breeding ground for the lesser flamingo. The high mineral content in the water can cause animals that come into contact with it to calcify, preserving their remains almost like statues.

The Lake Natron Day Trip offers a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes, flamingo sightings, and cultural immersion.
